Located at the heart of the northern coastal corridor between the Joondalup and Yanchep centres, the future pedestrian and transit friendly Alkimos Central city centre has been designed to bring much needed amenities and infrastructure to this fast growing area.
Our vision for Alkimos Central is to create a dynamic, adaptive place to live, learn, work and retreat.
Anchored by its own city centre and new take on an integrated transit hub, it will blend seamlessly within its coastal context, connect communities across generations and foster economic and social vitality. We understand that community and stakeholder consultation is critical to realising this vision.
We invited community feedback to inform our Stage 1 design of the future Alkimos Central City Centre which includes establishing a central square and vibrant community hub with flexible and adaptive spaces, activating the area around Alkimos train station from its opening, which is expected to be 2022. This survey is now closed, we are now reviewing responses to the survey and will communicate the outcomes soon. If you have any questions about the project you can get in touch at alkimoscentral@developmentwa.com.au.
